Hi, I’m Melissa! After almost three years as a Brand + Content Strategy Consultant, I have experienced firsthand just how difficult it can be on your own in the world of freelancing and sought out every community and collective I could to support me on my journey to success as a solopreneur. Additionally, within the traditional agency model, I’ve found that custom tailored marketing solutions are not being prioritized for clients to the benefit of their future success. In an effort to shake up the industry, I founded Two Halves with the combined mission of creating a space where both clients and freelancers alike feel seen, heard, and most importantly, supported in all of their endeavours.

When I’m not working, I love to hike, bike, bake, and go for long walks on the beach… with my dog. It also must be stated that the best food in the world is grilled cheese and this is not up for debate.
